If you increase the pace to between 12 and 14 and 14 to 16 mph then you stand to burn 150 calories after 17 minutes and 14 minutes respectively.
Jogging and running are also effective in burning calories. To burn 150 calories jog for 19 minutes, run at a 6mph pace for 13 minutes or run at a 8mph for 10 minutes. The faster you move the more calories you can burn! Even playing your favorite sport can do wonders for you. Playing soccer for 19 minutes or beach volleyball for 17 minutes or the more intense rugby for 13 minutes will see you burn 150 calories.
Walking is part of our daily activities and walking at a brisk pace for 35 minutes will see you lose 150 calories as will walking at a medium pace for 38 minutes and at a slow pace for 53 minutes. So next time you are taking a walk around the block or from your office to the parking, remember you are burning calories as you do that.
If going to the gym or indoors workout is more your thing and you want to burn 150 calories, use an elliptical machine for 24 minutes, use the stair machine for 22 minutes or doing push-ups for 17 minutes.
